Krista was born in Jackson, but raised most of her life in Rockford, Illinois. She graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, TN and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with the focus of Management.

Because she loves her family, Krista wanted to move closer to some of her family. She has five brothers, and a sister all spread around the U.S., but one of her brothers and parents live in Jackson.  She also loves all things Marvel and in her free time you might see her reading a book or walking her dog, Dixie.

Krista joined the Adelsberger Marketing team in July 2022. Having a more operations focused mind, she is excited to help bring her knowledge into the team. Krista enjoys seeing people be successful and is excited to help do that for businesses in the community.

Katie Howerton

Specialties: Graphic Design

Katie was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN, and moved to Jackson in 2015 to get her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Drawing at Union University. During that time she created the Our Jackson Home journal for her senior showcase. She then ran the organization from 2015-2020 and also served as the Communications Manager for theCO. She then focused her creative efforts on her travel planning services through the start-up Thatch, as well as on her Etsy shop Souvenear, where she fuels her Disney Parks fandom through hand-illustrated products.

After surviving the COVID pandemic with her husband, Jordan and daughters, November and Elinor, Katie joined the Adelsberger Marketing team part-time in 2022, where she is able to grow her design skills while still maintaining her Etsy shop and travel planning. When she isn’t changing diapers or hunched over her iPad, you can find her taking too many pictures of her food, tackling a 1,000-piece puzzle, working with henna, or planning her next trip.

Katie is excited to be working alongside her ol’ OJH/CO-buddy Kevin (along with numerous Disney fans) to support the businesses and people of Jackson in a new way.

Roshni Patel

Specialties: Digital Ads, Social Media Coordinator

Roshni was born in London, England before moving to Jackson when she was one years old. Although she loves to boast of her British roots (Fun Fact: This is also her favorite fun fact), she is a Jacksonian through and through. She left only to go to college at UT Knoxville and then again to get her Master’s in Strategic Communications in Chicago.

Roshni found her passion in communications while at college and has continued to develop and grow her skill set since joining Adelsberger Marketing at the beginning of 2021. She enjoys using the various tools she learned in school, as well as on the job. These tools have contributed and helped to develop narratives that not only enhance businesses, but also bring people in the community together.

Alex Russell

Specialties: Videography, Photography

Equipped with a creative mind and a bright green iPod Nano, Alex found himself enthralled with the easy access and ability he had to create videos at an early age. This opportunity created a spark. This spark turned into a passion.

Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, one day he decided being a resident in one Jackson wasn’t good enough. So, in 2015, he moved to Jackson, Tennessee for college, fell in love with the community, and has decided to stay here ever since. He graduated from Union University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Communications.

After many years of experience creating videos for clients, friends, and his own amusement, Alex has found joy in his capability to share unique stories and narratives that amplify the voices of the ordinary people we see each day. He holds the belief that video serves as one of the most meaningful and genuine ways to see the world.

Alex joined the Adelsberger Marketing team in October 2020. He is thankful to partner with a team that shows so much love and support to the local community and anticipates joining them on their endeavor to shed light on all the amazing qualities of the Hub City!

Ricky Santos

Specialties: Graphic Design, Digital Animation, Web Design

Ricky was born in Divinópolis, Brazil and spent the first four years of life there. In 2000, he and his family moved to Jackson. His father opened a painting company and Ricky helped every summer. But Ricky felt like painting wasn’t his career goal.

In high school, Ricky thought he would pursue a career as an engineer because he wanted to do a lot of problem-solving. But he soon realized that math was not well suited for him. So he began to search for another career option that involved both creative and practical problem solving.

He found both of these items in the graphic design world. Ricky said, “I’m excited to work with Adelsberger Marketing because it will give me a chance to work with so many businesses in the local community and help them grow their business.

Tamara Waller

Specialties: Photography, Graphic Design

Tamara was born in Los Angeles, raised in Morocco, and currently lives in Jackson TN. She graduated from Union University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Communications. Her desire to grow in her photography skills started from watching her older sister take pictures when they were younger. Tamara then learned more about taking pictures and how to use a lens camera in her photography classes in college.

She is married to her childhood crush, Aaron, whom she has known for almost 22 years. She enjoys making art with watercolor for her art business, and loves to travel in her spare time. Always interested in learning new things, she wants to start learning how to sew her own clothes.

Tamara joined the Adelsberger Marketing team in November 2021, and is glad to be on a team that values community and teamwork. She is excited to see how she can use her photography to highlight what the people of Jackson and the city have to offer!

Eric Archer

Specialties: Photography, Video Production

Born and raised in Jackson, Eric spent much of his teenage years making short films with friends, and traversing the town in search of new locations to photograph. After graduating high school, Eric moved to Middle Tennessee to study film and video production. He spent two years studying at Middle Tennessee State University before becoming a father in 2019. Eric returned to Jackson with his son Emerson that same year.

Eric is continuing work on his undergraduate studies at Union University where he is majoring in Journalism. It can be bittersweet moving back to one’s hometown, but since his return Eric has found a reinvigorated love for telling stories through media. He hopes to reside in Jackson for the remainder of his studies, during that time he plans to look for new and unique ways to tell stories in the community he was raised in and continue to share his love for film and media with his son (even if that means being forced to watch “The Lion King” for the past five father son movie nights.)

Noel Moore

Noel was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN and is currently in her junior year at Union University. Majoring in Journalism, she serves as the Features Editor for Union’s magazine publication Cardinal & Cream. Originally, she wanted to be an author, but quickly realized a more social career was necessary for her mental, physical, and all-around well-being. Noel landed on journalism, as it combined her favorite things: getting to know people and writing.

Noel was a contributing writer in Cardinal & Cream in two issues that won Best College Magazine of the South, and has also received a Baptist Communicators Association Grand Prize Student Award in News Writing for a piece she wrote. She has contributed to the online newspaper since freshman year, and her love for telling stories and expressing herself through the written word has only grown.

When not writing or having conversations with people she will later write down, you can find Noel leading a tour on campus, hanging out in Barefoots, or learning dance moves with her high school small group girls at Fellowship Bible Church.

Leah Steed

Leah was raised in Dubuque, Iowa with the exception of a three-year excursion to Shanghai, China, where she grew her love of international travel. After getting tired of the Iowa winters, she decided to move south to Jackson, Tennessee, where she attends Union University and will graduate with a BFA in Graphic Design and Painting.

Leah fell in love with painting at an early age due to a fascination with the way an artist could imitate the world through color. While creativity is most associated with the arts, she discovered that her love of painting is rooted in the fun of problem-solving. After one Graphic Design class, she found it was the perfect balance of both qualities, and enjoyed the practical way it could benefit others. Leah is excited to be a part of the Adelsberger Marketing team and practice her skills in a company that works to grow and encourage their community.

When she is not doing homework or painting commissions, you can find Leah rewatching Disney classics for the thousandth time, planning trips (real and imaginary) around the world, and solving Rubik’s Cubes as a way to de-stress.
