Krista was born in Jackson, but raised most of her life in Rockford, Illinois. She graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, TN and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with the focus of Management.

Because she loves her family, Krista wanted to move closer to some of her family. She has five brothers, and a sister all spread around the U.S., but one of her brothers and parents live in Jackson.  She also loves all things Marvel and in her free time you might see her reading a book or walking her dog, Dixie.

Katie Howerton

Specialties: Graphic Design

Katie was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN, and moved to Jackson in 2015 to get her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Drawing at Union University. During that time she created the Our Jackson Home journal for her senior showcase. She then ran the organization from 2015-2020 and also served as the Communications Manager for theCO. She then focused her creative efforts on her travel planning services through the start-up Thatch, as well as on her Etsy shop Souvenear, where she fuels her Disney Parks fandom through hand-illustrated products.

After surviving the COVID pandemic with her husband, Jordan and daughters, November and Elinor, Katie joined the Adelsberger Marketing team part-time in 2022, where she is able to grow her design skills while still maintaining her Etsy shop and travel planning. When she isn’t changing diapers or hunched over her iPad, you can find her taking too many pictures of her food, tackling a 1,000-piece puzzle, working with henna, or planning her next trip.

Katie is excited to be working alongside her ol’ OJH/CO-buddy Kevin (along with numerous Disney fans) to support the businesses and people of Jackson in a new way.

Alex Russell

Specialties: Videography, Photography

Equipped with a creative mind and a bright green iPod Nano, Alex found himself enthralled with the easy access and ability he had to create videos at an early age. This opportunity created a spark. This spark turned into a passion.

Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, one day he decided being a resident in one Jackson wasn’t good enough. So, in 2015, he moved to Jackson, Tennessee for college, fell in love with the community, and has decided to stay here ever since. He graduated from Union University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Communications.

After many years of experience creating videos for clients, friends, and his own amusement, Alex has found joy in his capability to share unique stories and narratives that amplify the voices of the ordinary people we see each day. He holds the belief that video serves as one of the most meaningful and genuine ways to see the world.

Alex joined the Adelsberger Marketing team in October 2020. He is thankful to partner with a team that shows so much love and support to the local community and anticipates joining them on their endeavor to shed light on all the amazing qualities of the Hub City!

Ricky Santos

Specialties: Graphic Design, Digital Animation, Web Design

Ricky was born in Divinópolis, Brazil and spent the first four years of life there. In 2000, he and his family moved to Jackson. His father opened a painting company and Ricky helped every summer. But Ricky felt like painting wasn’t his career goal.

In high school, Ricky thought he would pursue a career as an engineer because he wanted to do a lot of problem-solving. But he soon realized that math was not well suited for him. So he began to search for another career option that involved both creative and practical problem solving.

He found both of these items in the graphic design world. Ricky said, “I’m excited to work with Adelsberger Marketing because it will give me a chance to work with so many businesses in the local community and help them grow their business.

Jacob Beals

Specialties: Video Production

Born in Paducah, Kentucky and raised in Milan, Tennessee, Jacob Beals didn’t pick up his passion for video production until later in life—but storytelling has always been part of his DNA. Since the age of six, he’s been crafting narratives in every medium available: performing on stage, stepping in front of the camera, lending his voice behind a microphone, or weaving epic adventures as Dungeon Master for his friends.

When he’s not creating stories for others, Jacob is busy building his own alongside his wife, Crista, through her theater company. He’s also pursuing a growing career in voice acting, blending his love of performance with his technical skill as a creator.

For Jacob, the heart of his work lies in uncovering the true character of a story—finding the moments that feel real, honest, and worth remembering. He believes that every business, brand, and project has an authentic voice waiting to be heard, and he’s committed to bringing it to life.

Greg Teel

Specialties: Digital Marketing

Greg was born and raised in Jackson. He graduated from Union University with a degree in Digital Media Communications. Greg went to college with no idea of what he wanted to do. After his first year, he thought back to his passion for making and editing YouTube videos as a kid. This inspired him to try out an entry-level filmmaking class that next semester and he fell in love. He is eager to grow his skills in the areas of videography and editing. Greg also enjoys staying active and has an unhealthy obsession with European professional soccer, with his favorite club being Arsenal F.C.

Abigail Van Neste

Fall Intern

Abigail Van Neste is a junior journalism major at Union University. At Union, she also serves as Editor-In-Chief of Cardinal & Cream, the student publication. For as long as she can remember, Abigail has always wanted to be a writer. She is eager to learn about others, tell their stories well, and ultimately point them to the goodness of Christ.

Abigail was born and raised in Jackson with her 5 brothers. She loves cheering on the Green Bay Packers alongside her family (even if she doesn’t always know what’s going on). She is also an active member of her church, Calvary Baptist Church.

Jennie Simmons

Fall Intern

Since discovering the power and beauty of photography in high school, Jennie has found herself looking at the world through a camera lens. She adores capturing the world around her in any way that she can, whether it be landscape, wildlife, or people. Specifically, she is the happiest when she has the chance to just walk around and capture whatever catches her eye.

Born and raised in Cedar Grove, Tennessee, Jennie has continued to be curious about what all the world has to offer. Deciding that staying in a small, rural town was not for her, she has taken to traveling and taking in all that she can. From traveling to over half of the United States to visiting places overseas like Turks and Caicos and the Dominican Republic, Jennie has plans to continue her exploration of the world.

As a middle child of five siblings, Jennie enjoys being free to explore in the outdoors and to go wherever she is compelled. However, when she feels like settling down for the day, you can observe her curled up with a book, listening to music, or watching a Disney movie.

Jennie joined the Adelsberger Marketing team as a Photography Intern. She is excited to work with and learn from such an amazingly talented group of individuals who she knows will help her grow as both a creator and an individual.

Lane Pyron

Fall Intern

Though he was born in Jackson, Lane was raised in Memphis, TN. He loves the 901 and how the people unite around sports like the Memphis Tigers and the Grizzlies. He also loves the unique blend of cultures on Beale Street and he’ll tell you the Rendezvous has the best BBQ in the world. He’s an active member of Bellevue Baptist Church and spends a lot of time with his sisters, parents, grandparents, and cousins when he’s home.

He moved back to Jackson to study finance and political science at Union where he just started his senior year. On campus he’s served as a Residence Advisor for Pollard, a University Relations Ambassador, an EDGE Mentor, a brother in the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity (Ruh Rah Rega), Student Body Vice-President, and currently leads the Student Government Association as Student Body President. Off-campus, he’s worked as a clerk for the Law Office of Nancy Choate, a campaign manager for multiple local and state races, and a backstage hand for the Jackson Symphony. His future plans are to take the LSAT this winter and attend law school next year.

Lane has learned to love the small businesses and tight-knit community of the people of Jackson. So he can’t wait to help Adelsberger Marketing showcase the quality of his second home, the 731!
